Penny Lane is a warm and cozy, bohemian inspired cafe with a lot of cute cups and other knickknacks. The café is located in the heart of the city centre in Aalborg in Denmark.
This adorable place is one of my favorite places to visit when I am in Aalborg. The place is usually packed so if you are planning a visit you should definitely book a table in advance to avoid having to leave disappointed. It is especially packed during Christmas season as Aalborg is a very popular city for Norwegians to visit and do their Christmas shopping.
Penny Lanes salads are delicious, and the portions are huge!
Penny Lane offers a wide range of different tea. Ordering tea is always exciting because everyone gets different cups in different colors. If you like one of the cups it is also possible to buy them, as Penny Lane has a little shop inside the café.
The cakes and bakes are in typically Danish style, sweet and yummy. “Morgensnegle” or cinnamon roll in English and the lemon meringue is amazing.
If you are a vegan Penny Lane has both cakes and lunches without animal products. They also offer gluten-free food.
